Hello SDB Friends!
There has been a lot of progress going along all of Sustainable Design Build’s projects as the Summer came to a close for 2018!
1265 Xavier, is finishing up the last pieces to the exterior trim items making its street appearance that much closer to an inviting home. In the interior, there are multiple finishing trades working tirelessly to make the homes inviting. Hardwood floors and tiling have completed the finishing touches as cabinetry installers are wrapping up the install of the kitchen and bath boxes. Following their work we already have counter tops in the works to be fabricated and installed right after. We are excited for such progress as we soon will get painters inside to give a lively coat for all the units. Outside the homes, the garages are being built and will make us one step closer to finishing the exterior items such as flatwork.
1365 Zenobia, is finishing up the last of the framing items and inspections which will allow us to move on to interior trades of the build. We will have insulation install lined up drywall hanging right after. This is the part of the project where a lot of trades start happening all at once!
Our newest project, 1374 Yates, sewer and water lines have been installed. We will be moving onto caisson drilling here in the next couple days and further on will get our concrete foundation poured! We can’t wait to see this build get vertical with framing soon.
