The redevelopment of the Ball Arena area, has been approved by the Denver City Council, marks a significant shift in commercial construction and urban redevelopment for Denver residents. Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) has secured the green light to transform approximately 70 acres surrounding the arena into a thriving mixed-use space, featuring apartments, retail shops, and office spaces.

The area around Ball arena has been an interest to developers and owners, Kroenke Sports and Entertainment, for some time now. Today, Monday, September 23rd, 2024, the owners will go before the board of Denver City Council to find approval for a major 55-acre redevelopment plan. Originally, the owners filed the redevelopment plans in 2022, flash forward to today, the City of Denver might see a path forward to a brand new development – one that will change the face and Denver skyline.
